I added an extra Hard Disk to my system.
I configured the existing Hard Disk as the Master and the new one as the Slave.
But when I booted the system, my system couldn't detect either of the drives!
It said "Operating System not found"
Then I changed the jumper settings, so that now they are in Cable Select Mode
(existing disk as the Master and the new one as the Slave again)
Now, the system could detect the existing hard disk but not the new one.
But the system doesn't boot properly (junk characters coming in the screen with beep sounds)
When I viewed the BIOS setup, I found that the name of the existing hard disk is
coming as some junk (like Fujits 2MD or something).
If I remove the new hard disk, everything is working fine.
Any idea why it happens and any solutions?

you should try making both hard disks master; i.e. primary master and secondary master. also enable auto detect in your BIOS and reboot.
