Hi all,

I recently bought a External Hard disk which has both a USB and an IEEE interface. USB interface works fine, but it is when I connected the 6 pin IEEE interface to a 4 pin one in my laptop.

The problem is that, in the intial two or three times the Computer could recognize the External Hard Disk, but it used to show a "Delayed Write Failed....etc". and then I did some antiques because of which the Laptop stopped recognizing the External Drive all its shows in the device manager is Question mark to the connected hard ware.

The problem is even the Driver CD provided with the HArd drive does not seem to be working. can some one help me to solve this problem? better still if some one could send me the driver fot installing this.

Thanks in advance

You look at the manufactuers site for the devices that are having problem? They may have the drivers.
