Does anyone have any links for types of computer mice for people with severe arthritis? Something available in Oz would be nice, but I'll take anything.
I'm setting up my old laptop for my grandmother.

thanks,
Dave.

That vertical hand-shake position mouse looks cool. I feel some stress turning my hand to the left to make it flat and pulling the wrist back a bit. Ouch.

I have a friend who uses track balls after some injuries to his wrist. I don't know if that would help the arthiritis sufferer or not.

Its a great idea to design a mouse for arthritis sufferers, but I wonder if these would also be good for preventing arthritis as well? Being reasonably young and healthy, I'm a bit paranoid about damaging myself unnecessarily during every day work.

I've noticed things like my ability to change focus diminishing, and my elbows aching by the end of the day, so have put some effort into having a good distance from monitor, good posture etc. It would be good if there were computer peripherals available which could help maintain good joint condition etc... maybe the examples above are good for this.

"How many licks ..." - I think all of this dog's research starts with these words. Tasty tiny ad:
