where is scan program for winxp

I use this to scan for bad sectors, in win 98.

I cant find it in winxp. Any ideas where it is?

Windows explorer > right click the drive > properties > Tools tab > error checking.

Some virus, spyware or hack, seem to have left my windows wasted. I had to reformat and reinstall winxp.

I was attacked before I installed my Mcafee antivirus/firewall/anti-spyware.

Its all good now. Winxp is so vulnerable to these things. Much like, WinXp cannot live without extra anti-virus software assistance.
