how to reset the vi -i option

I have "segmentation Fault" in opening the vi editor.Meanwhile i used the "vi -i myfile.java". But got the same error.How to reset the vi -i command.this -i option is giving viminfo as

Segmentation fault


when i give the above command.what shall i do?
