Hi All,

One of my friends wants to do a project for his curriculum and has choosen to develop a simple operating system (very very small one). Can anyone please help me get some good info and links for the proceeding for the same?

You should be able to get the source for the Linux 0.1 kernel

Interesting idea to do something tiny from scratch. What kind of features are in scope?

Bootable or provide a virtual machine?
Program launcher
Console
File system
Multitasking
Other?
