What differentiates a podcat MP3 from a non-podcast MP3?

beats me. I used to have all these podcasts in the podcast section of Itunes but after I reinstalled my OS and restored my files. I could find the podcats sitting in the podcast folder in iTunes on my C drive but they wont show in the podcast section of Itunes, Instead they play as music when double clicked. I even changed the genre to podcast but it still wont go to its correct section. I tried to drag and drop but no go.

I'm thinking I'll have to create some kind of a special playlist.
And not just any playlist but a 'smart' playlist.
No, still doesnt work!
