Using JAAS and Active Directory

Hi ranchrers.
I want to use JAAS to access the active directory, I know a little about JAAS, so do you know any good tutorial that discuss this functionality.
I know only to use the simple thing in JAAS (prompting the user to enter his data using the console).
any help is very appreciated...

you should look towards jGuard(http://jguard.net) with its JNDILoginModule (which permits to connect to LDAP and other JNDI resources), shipped with the 0.70 release.
