I'm a new bie to LDAP can any one suggest me
1. How to get LDAP s/w ?
2. How can i add an entry to a Ldap server.

Is there any sample code available.

The most popular open source LDAP server is OpenLDAP. Novell and Sun Microsystems also have directory server products that you should consider using.

Google for "LDAP tutorial java" or something like that and you'll get plenty of hits.
