Why don't they ever give out books for posts in Meaningless Drivel. Then I'd actually have a chance at winning.
Possible suggestions:
- career search books
- older versions of Java books
- computer magazine subscriptions
Hopefully someone in charge is reading this...

It is mainly a Wheedling issue. In order to give stuff away we have to beg and plead and basically wheedle the stuff out of the publishers and get them to agree to handle the mailing.
They have no vested interest in promoting old books (it wouldn't increase the sales much).
Career books would probably have to go to the "Jobs Discussion" forum".
Magazine subscriptions . . . hmmmm . . . that has possibilities.
What do you think Carl???
