OK. Here is my simple problem. I fear though that the solution is not as simple:

I have:

Server A running Apache webserver on a machine. The webpages are protected using a Basic Authentication pop-up. The authentication is done using an LDAP server.

Server B is ALSO running Apache webserver but on ANOTHER machine. Its webpages are ALSO protected via Basic Authentication against the SAME LDAP server.

A user can log into either of these two servers using the same user ID and password as they both point to same LDAP.

Now, I have to add a link on one of the protected web pages in server A. This link points to a protected web page on server B.

So, now.. how do I configure Single-Sign-on for this system so that if a user has ALREADY successfully authenticated on Server A and clicks on the link pointing to a web page on Server B, the password pop-up does not appear again?
