i am trying to encrypt a xml file.iam trying to do PasswordBasedEncryption
using AES.but when i pass the algorithm name like this

SecretKey key = SecretKeyFactory.getInstance("AES").generateSecre(keySpec);
Cipher ecipher = Cipher.getInstance(key.getAlgorithm());

it throws a NoSuchAlgorithmException.

BTW, for your question, it will help if you provided a code snippet that would compile. It is difficult to determine what you are doing wrong without valid code.
