Hi!
I want to write a java provider for the Merkle and Hellman algorithm. I am new to JCE and don't know how to proceed. Any ideas on how to implement that?

Hello "The Best"-

Welcome to JavaRanch.

On your way in you may have missed that we have a policy on screen names here at JavaRanch. Basically, it must consist of a first name, a space, and a last name, and not be obviously fictitious. Since yours does not conform with it, please take a moment to change it, which you can do right here.

As to your question, check out "How can I implement my own JCE provider?" in the SecurityFaq page.

Thanks for your reply!!
I changed my user name!
I looked at the link you gave me but I realized that there is no implementation for Merkle and Hellman algorithm (Maybe because it was broken!).
If somebody has tried implementing that algorithm, I would really appreciate it if he gives me guidelines on how to do it.
Thanks.
