Hi,
We are doing private key encryption for password. the method which does the encryption read the "key" from a flat file and then encryptes the password.
Question: How to protect the key?
Thanks in advance
Sharron

Welcome to JavaRanch.

From which person(s) are you trying to conceal the key - developers, system administrators, ...? Where is this file located - a desktop, a server, ...?
