How to avoid dumb mistakes on exam??

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Fellow ranchers,
As C-Day(Certification Day) approaches I'm just trying to make sure I avoid all of the pitfalls of dumb mistakes on the exam. I've noticed on some of the mock exams I'll make between 3-6 dumb mistakes. Which could make the difference between being a SCJP or a sad attempted SCJP.
I define a dumb mistakes as errors that are made even though you know the correct answer but are done in haste.
So does anyone have any advice?
Also I've noticed that I seen to do better with code based questions as opposed to theorical. Has anyone else noticed this?
Any advice to help me contain my nerviousness?
Regards,

Think of how dumb the average person is. Mathematically, half of them are EVEN DUMBER. Smart tiny ad:
