Hello Everybody,
I have been a silent surfer of this site for past couple of months. Today I have cleared the exam with a score of 88%. The exam is not very tough, but checks the concepts thoroughly. Time duration is 2 hrs. My prepn. was based on RHE certfn. guide & JQPLUS, both are exceptionally good.
I am very much thankful to JAVARANCH, MAHAANNA sites, without which, I couldn't have succeeded in the exam.
Good Luck to prospective SCJP's.
best wishes,
phani.

Congratulations Raj!!
You've mentioned that you used RHE & JQPLUS. How good is JQPLUS, do you advice to go through all the mocks available or are a combination of RHE & JQPLUS enough.
Thanks,
Vijay

vijay,
RHE clears your concepts theoritically, where as JQPLUS helps you to actually apply them, which is very important. I have done all the mocks on JQPLUS, which enabled me to gain confidence.
Hope I have answered you. All the best.

CONGRATULATIONS..
Its a good score.. Can u higlight something on assignment and flow control...... I often hear from many people that its very tricky and quiet confusing.. How good is JQPlus. I mean is the hardness level something similar to real exam.. It has something like easy to real brainer.. How would u rate the test wrt to Jqplus's hardness level?
Thanks in advance.

hi Phani,
I thought the exam duration is 1-1/2 hrs. Or did I not utilize the extra half hour you are talking about

Hi Harpal,
Thank you for the wishes. I have been tracking you for past one month on this site, but never got a chance to interact with you. Any way thank you once again & I wish you the same from my side. JQplus costed me Rs.300/-(three hundred rupees).
cheers
phani.
