Well studying with a kid and working full time is not easy!! So all mothers out there please force yourself to wake up at nights, or have good mother in laws
. I am lucky to get the best in laws in this world and I would like to thank them all for their help esp my mother in law who was really so sweet to help me and take care of my son. Just playing with him, was at times a big help. Special thanx to my Son for putting up with me�I feel so guilty that I neglected him during the end of prep days! Most of the credit goes to my husband who, being real interested in (only my) career planning
, made it possible for me to work and study, at times fighting for me and encouraging me to give the exam!It would not have been possible without his help and ongoing support!!! Many thanx to my sweet mother whose prayers really helped!My sister and brother who�s support I really counted on! Special thanx to Preety for understanding my situation and helping me!
My advice for the future and TIPS FOR THE EXAM
Please try to concentrate on Overloading Overriding and that�s just best in Khalids book. Just do all the examples and the questions, try to experiment with simple changes(err� I cant tell more!) but u could just change the order of modifiers e.g and try!
Threads are important and u shuld know what synchronized
thread would do for multiple threads.
Exceptions flow is important�like put all the print statements everywhere in Khalid�s books example program and see what is the order of output! Whats reachable and wht not!.what difference does it make if the try catch is in main or when its called from a method outside main .
One question was ambiguous in the exam. Go through the Sun sample questions as I got one frm it. The codes are not thaaat lengthy and just go through all the mocks ! I didn�t have the time for all the mocks at Maha�s site but did about 15 and had saved the marcus ones for the last days.Theyr the closest.
Nothing helps more than prayers! And I thank Allah for all this !
I�m so glad that its all over now and I would be able to spend some time in Lahore
!! Yeah I gave the exam in Hamburg , Germany and would now day dream of whts to come next!!!
Any suggesstions of what shuld be the next step?Is Developer exam worthwhile???
