Dear All Experienced ones,
Hey,
What do you have to say about the JXam version 2.0 simulator and JQ+ in comparison to the real exam. I am getting approx. 73% in the JXam mocks. How close are these two mock simulators to the real exam. Please Reply!!
Bye,

I was getting in the low 80's on JQPlus and got 93% on the real exam. However, I spent a lot more time really analyzing the questions on the real exam than I did on JQPlus, but I generally think the real exam is slightly easier.

I also studied the results of my JQPlus tests in detail. I was averaging about 65-71% on the JQPlus exams, and received a 86% on the real exam. The JQPlus supplemental exam is the closest I've seen.

i gave the exam on 12th feb
i got 88%

in jqplus i got: 85, 91,80,78,85 ,90 like that
in jqplust hardest test : 68
in marcus green test 2 : 90
i could have done better in actual exam
the questions were not tricky
but some questions were WRONG
in one questions he asked which one will return true
he gave six options,of which 4 did not compile and 2 returned false !
in another question, something was asked about a class which was not even mentioned in the code!!!
in a thread question the output was not determinable
and there was no option for that
i had to click a radio button saying what EXACTLY will be done

the only tricky questions i had were regarding
if(int type)and while(int type)
do java.lang well
they are the questions where you always get full
like what parameter does Math.tan() take? degrees or radians!
regards

When I took the test I gave Sun the full benefit of the doubt, so wouldn't doubt myself. The questions that apeared incorrect at first revealed a bit of trickiness when I looked closer. It is important to read the intial guideline offered by the exam before moving on. I answered a lot of questions with, 'will not compile'. The ones I missed are probably the ones I really didn't know. It is also possible to receive to entirely different test based on how large the question pool is rumored to be.
