Hi Siva,
Congratulations.. great score!!!
I think you should be having iron-of-courage to take the exam without any preparation from any of the certif. books..
This gives me confidence...
did you get any fill-in-the blanks and did you put your answer within quotes ("ans"), for strings aswell as for non-strings

Wish you all the best for future endeavours,
have a nice time,
subbu

Thanx for all,
I am currently working as a Analyst Programmer in Sri Lanaka. I already have about one year of working experience in Java(EJBs, Servelts .). Its took 2 months to prepare myself for the Exam. I have Studied Java from these books
The Complete Reference - Java 2 Third Edition.
Java Language Specification - Second Edition and Sun Java Tutorial. Later I found this Excellent Site and Start Going through the threads. I sure whoever regularly visiting to this site will get all necessary links and Information about the exam. I did almost all freely available mocks in the net.
Specially I would like to thank Maha Anna for her excellent collecttion in her home page (www.javaranch.com/maha) and Velmurugan for his excellent Notes.
I took a hardcopy and studied each and every line.(http://www.geocities.com/velmurugan_p/notes.html)
I would like to thank everyone here again and I will still be active in this site to help others if I can.
Good luck to everyone on their way to take the exam!

It was a String they process that String and asked me to type the output.

Prakash,
What do you infer from the messages here. If string cannot be in quotes, then all the o/p's should be as such without quotes

sir
so where does the question of putting quotes arise?
i have heard many people complain that they lost marks because
they unnecessarily used quotes?
a guy was complaining that he lost marks & failed
because he answered a question like
fill in the keyword?
and he wrote final instead of "final"
soree but i m too confused plz help me
thanx

Hi prakash patil,
Don't confuse yourself with this typeing Questions.
You must read the Question very carefully if they ask you to type
the output then you have to type the output as it is appears on the screen, or you might ask you to type the code within the programme then you have to type that as that be in the code.
Also there won't be much typing questions in the exam only 1-5 even some time there wont be any of them So dont worry toomuch about this. And I dont think these typing Questinons will affect you to pass the Exam.
Good Luck.
