Dear Friends,
I am new to this forum. But i was indirectly aware of the happenings of this forum. I cleared certfication exam with 84% on 18/04/2001. I would like to share my experience with all those who intend to face the exam.
I found the real exam was bit easier than almost all the mocks I have faced. I gave as many as 35 mock before facing the real exam. Jtips was the toughest and Marcus the Best. Real exam is almost a simulation of marcus.
In the real exam there were lot of Questions on Threads(Mostly codes with synchronised code). 2-3 Q each on IO,AWT and UTIL but they were quite straight forward.
As far as books are concerened I started my preperation with Patrick Naughtan and in the end just swallowed Khalid Mughal. RHE is good enough to clear the exam But if u want rto score high khalid is the only option.
Net has the lion's share in the preperation. Though i was not directly involved in the discussion forums but got the feel by discussion with my friends who were regular here.
Thanx to all those good and supporting people around there.

Bye
