Hi,
I am a software engineer having completed my bachelors in Computer SC.I have worked in India for a while in Java(awt programming) mainly assisting some modules for porting for a client a C++ project implementing Breast Cancer.I have just come to the US having got married and plan to take the SJCP.i know it is kinda late in this industry but i had already planned to take it last year but due to some personal reasons i could not.
Could any of u suggest how exactly i go about it.i already have the reqd books as is in the certification guide by Heller and the core java 2 series by Horstmann and Cornell.would i need to procure any other apart from the links and mock test links u'r site offers?
please kindly advise.
Trisha

Hi Trisha,
U can check out Maha Anna's page for a step by step guide to ur certification, the link is http://www.javaranch.com/maha/Preparation_tips/preparation_tips.html
As for me I had followed RHE and Jaworski and they r good too but I heard that Khalid Mughal is the best. All the best for ur shot at the exam.

I am moving this thread to " Programmer Certification Study Forum" . I feel this is not correct forum to ask about this.
