hi
i passed the exam yesterday (84%). I used only Khalid and JQ+. I started studying for the exam last month(around 20th) and the last week did nothing else but JQ+. I have seen the other certification guides but Khalid is best. Its little bit tougher but after u are done with it u dont have to read other certification guides. JQ+ is a good resource (though they have all the multiple choice questions of khalid :-) )...... also they have a few questions which are almost similar to real exam. This part i dont like because if ppl started compiling real questions then
SCJP would lose all its value.
okay now the tips:-
1) have confidence in urself ( tons ) of it
2) Exam is EASY ( believe me !!!) once u r done with Khalid and JQ+ ........ u would find the real exam easy ......infact some questions were so easy tat i read them 10 times because i couldnt believe it.( okay 4 times

3) when u r reading Khalid do coding side by side. make small programs ....... change them for all the possibilties and see the output.
tats it for now
best of luck
When i was studying for exam i was aiming for certification ..... but now after passing it...... i value the confidence that i have gained in the language more than the certification, because i think anyone can get tat certification..its easy and passing score is too low (61%) ...its a joke.
