Hi everybody,
Thanks to all of ur help, javaranch's support and the mock exams...I passed with 88% and i am happy(tho, had i got 90% above i would have been thrilled.. ). Well, the exam wasn't that easy, they inisist that we be thorough with our fundas.Well, what i found was, after reading the texts, we got to practice lots and lots of mock exams. I did some 20+ free mock exams given in this site. Except for some questions in thread most of the questions were straightforward. They were a couple of questions from overloading/overriding, which insist that we be really sure of what they are. I got only one fill in the blanks from string. There were some questions on array inistialisations. The questions from IO were mainly asking on the constructors. I found threads realy hard and that is where i scored lowest, i think u should really work out threads..doing small programs, changing a bit here and there.
Well, anyway i feel relieved and the most surprising thing was i got almost the same as what i got for marcus greens exam. I got an aggregate of 87% for that and 88% for the main. And also, the questions asked for the main exam is similar to the type of questions asked by him.
Well, i guess that is it. Once again, thank u everybody for answering my doubts and helping me out.
All the best to all of u,
Lakshmi
