I took the exam on Saturday and pulled through with
an 81%. It wasn't as bad as I thought, or maybe I
was just prepared enough. I, like most candidates,
read Mughal's book several times, along with the Sybex
guide. Once working through all practice questions and
Mock exams on both guides and studying Marcus Green's
exams, I purchased JQ+ and spent my last week taking
about 4-5 test per day. With all this preparation, I
guess I should've scored a little higher, but I told
myself If I made it I won't be too hard on myself. It
was my first attempt. I also have about a year of Java
behind me, mostly using server-side, jdbc apps. I'm also
an OCP, which took me about a year to accomplish. Thanks
much for the support of this site, all the guidance
found was definitely an inspiration. I will continue to
become involved in this site. Good luck to all taking
the exam!
