Dear Friends,
After a long journey, today I have cleared the SCJP with 72%. I was expecting more, but OK. The moment I started exam.. bombard started with highly pressured shells.. Thread & IO. There were more than 17-18 questions on these topics. I was in tension for about 30 minutes. It was really tougher than mock exams Marcus Green, Jxam, Jwhiz, etc. I got 100% on both Util & IO, but in Thread (57%) lang (50%) and funda(50%) low score and in GC 0%. I had finished in 1.15 hrs and reviewed all the questions, noted some mistake and made some changes in the answer, it took 30 more minutes, lost patience pressed "End" before 15 minutes. Anyway becoming an SCJP is the aim, fulfilled, clearing the exam is the target, achieved.
I had participated in Javaranch on and off. But frequently I browse this site. I would like to say many many thanks to ALL at Javaranch, what a wonderful site. What a great service to the Java community. I definitely keep touch with Javaranch.
Marcus Green, JXam, JWhiz are excellent mock exams. Marcus Green, Maha Anna, Velmurugan, Veena their materials are very useful, many thanks to them.
Thanks a lot,

Congrats!! Remember its not the score you got its whether or not you passed!!
I got lucky on my test, didn't hit the thread and I/O questions until later in it
best of luck for the future

CONGRATULATIONS!
Just as well you pressed "END" because sometimes you end up second and triple guessing yourself

Thank you Percy & Leena,
Friends,
I am expecting some kind of advise from the ranchers as how to go about further. Which will add more value to a Java Programmer to get into the field quickly (Ofcourse for entry level).
I would like to do some (live) project, any clue where can I get.
Thanks in advance.
