Hi everybody,
Received the logo's by mail. I got it in the .ps format. Anyone know how do I get about opening this after downloading it into my hard drive. No instructions given with the mail.
Regards,
Shiraz.

Hi Shiraz,
I haven't bothered to get the logo but a .ps file is usually a PostScript file. You should be able to print it and I imagine insert it into a document.

Hi Jane,
I cannot open the attachment itself. How do I insert it in a word document, or for that matter, how do I print it? Please advise.

While, like I said, I haven't done it myself. Here are a few links I found that might help:
How to handle PostScript files.
converting .ps to word

Christophe,
When you get your SCJP package it includes a licensing agreement for the logo. Once you sign the agreement and send it Sun they will give you a url from which to d/l the logo.

How long does it take to get them to send you the link for d/l the logo? I sent my license agreement off a month ago.

Hi Tom,
It takes about 4-6 weeks. Hope you have sent your E-mail ID when you sent in the agreement.

Email it to me and I'll convert it for you. . Ignore the fact that I haven't passed the test yet.
If you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you too.

After months of waiting, I've finally received a URL to download the SCJP2 logo to put on my resume. However, Sun chose to present the logo in a very cryptic .esp file, of which I have no idea how to handle.
There is also a fairly large .tif file but the disclaimer says it cannot be resized. That particular .tif file is too big for my taste so I was hoping someone can show me how to resize and stick a .esp logo into a Word document.
Any takers? Thanks
