Dear All,
I cleared my Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 platform with a passing score of just 61 % .
Will this score have any value in the industry or Should i give another try for a better score.
Cheers :-(

Congratulations!
I have always said that two marks are making me really happy. You've got the one that I liked most, really!
Put it this way, you were so smart that you exactly calculated your effort, you have hit your target. That's it!
Better to open ten doors enough to go through than to open just one, but widely.
My opinion...

Congrats Monzy,
Don't worry about the score, you got it, it's the main thing.
You are the only one who has the access to the score anyway.
As Ersin said, "just enjoy it" !
Keep it up

Dear All,
Thank you all very much. First I would like to thank Java Ranch for having such a wonderful forum. To check the postings in Java Ranch has become a adiction to me , i will do that before checking my mails.
I have most of my fundamentals in Java very clear because of this forum.
Thanks u all very much.
regards

Congrats, Monzy. The score doesn't matter, just know you are certified now and that does matter.

BINGO!
You hit the nail on the head. No wasted effort. Your certificate is worth exactly that of the guy that pulled a 98%, and youve got all those spare hours to spend on your next certification.
Part of the game here is level of effort. Sure, you and I both can memorize every single constructor in the language, but the game is to memorize just enough and get the concepts down.
Congratulations!!!

Deepak why don't u give another try.... i mean now u must be knowing what exactly sun is asking in the exams. I lost marks because of my own mistake... i took a big risk.. I hated awt classses. i never wrote a single code of gridbag , gridbaglayout and others . I just memorised it . Assignment and operators is another important topic i did not paid much attention , but in other i am very good.
Now if i give another try i thing i should get above 90%. The important thing in this certification u should write java code and practise it.
Deepak u must not be bad in java .. give one try buddy u will clear with good score.
Cheers :-)
