Hi everybody,
I've been waiting for almost 4 months to post this.
I've passed the exam today with 86%. First of all I'd like to thank you. All of you. This place (javaranch) is a great place, I wish I have discovered sooner.
Regarding the exam, here are some remarks:
- I bought Java 2 Exam Cram (Bill Brogden) and the book is very good
- I have almost 2 years java background
- people say that the real exam is easier than the mocks; well, it's difficult to say. It was a mixture of easy questions and difficult ones. The easy part was that the number of correct solutions were given; that is, if you don't know the answer you can still eliminate the wrong answers. Bottom line, I think that Marcus Green mocks have around the same level of difficulty.
Here are some mock results (2nd or 3rd pass)that I've obtained before the exam :
- Marcus Green 89% (average)
- Guogiao 74% (average)
- JTips 80%
I didn't buy any of the JQ+ tests, I've tried to use at the maximum the free ones (around 20).
Thank you all once again,
Adrian
