I am quite disapointed with my score. But, anyway, it's not likely I am gonna take it again.
I did Macus 3 exams with 74% 75% 76%, yesterday. So leave that mock exam till the last minute.
The exam is very staight forward. It is less tricky than some mock exam posted on "Geocities".
IO and thread part is pretty heavy. Also AWT layout manager staff.
There are two questions about how/if you can access an static inner class from another package.
I hope I could have spent more time on it.

BTW,
If I came to this discussing forum a little earlier, I would be better off on the real exam. This is the second message I posted.

Sonir asked me some question. I think I answer here will be benificial.
I think the point of the exam is to test you how good you understand the language, as a programmer but not as a COMPILER. To my point the concepts really matter in the exam. If you are familiar with the concept the question will be very straight forward.
The hard concepts are thread, IO, as well as AWT event mechanism, LayoutManager, Inner class issue, static issue.
For thread, you need to know run, yield, start method as well as Thread and Runnable + synchronized and lock. I found Macus not very helpful at this area and at least 4-5 questions on this.
For IO you need to know some common use of class, like OutputStreamWriter, FileWriter, FileOutputStream, RandomAccessFile... How they chain together and if the code will affect underlying file system. RHE has a very good explaination on this.
Please be very careful about gabbage collection. I thought I got it right but indeed I was wrong. There is only one question ask about this. And I choose the answer say that the earliest time gc take effect is after an object set to null. IT WAS WRONG!! I still don't get it.
I spent 2 weeks reading RHE book and 3 days doing online mock exam. The only book I read is RHE. I don't even know about JQ+. But I think it must be very helpful with understanding the concept.
If you don't have much time left, I suggest you choose some good mock exam to do. If you miss one question, make sure to read related topic (not just explaination to the answer) and totally understand it.
Hope that helps.
