I passed ! It was tough but not too tough. Thanks to everyone for helping. I was extremely pleased with 83% as 62% would have been good enough for me. Here is my advice:
1. Get JQ+ and do all of the tests. I was only scoring 50% - 60% on my first try at all of the JQ+ exams. I took notes on my mistakes and studied them thoroughly before the test. I felt that the real thing was much like a JQ+ test, but take away 10 really hard/obscure JQ+ questions and add some pretty easy type questions.
2. I/O - Memorize the different constructors and how to string them together. Also understand if a file is created and when and if it is blanck or not and that sort of thing. I got a surprising 100% on this section.
4. I found AWT to be very difficult, but I did not study very much in this area.
3. Last but not least - FOCUS ON THE BASICS. Don't go wasting your time memorizing a bunch of obscure methods from this and that class. Just make sure you have a strong grasp on the basics as stated in the exam objectives (constructors, overloading, overriding, access modifiers, etc...).
Good Luck and maybe I will see you in SCWCD some day.
