I finally passed the SCJP exam with a 76%. Personally, I think there was some divine intervention going on from the big guy upstairs.
It also helped that I studied my ass off for several months.
I appreciate the help from Valentin Crettaz, Marilyn deQueiroz, Rob Ross, JavaRanch and the authors of Mike Meyers' Passport - Java2. It was a well written book and I highly recommend buying it.

what kind of scores were you getting in Marcus Green mocks and JQplus(if you used it) before you took the exam?
