I passed with a score of 81%!
Many thanks to JavaRanch. The advice given here is excellent. For those of you just starting, make sure you pay attention to which books and mocks are recommended.
Tips for passing:
Buy JQ+. It did the trick for me. The RHE book is also a must.
Take lots of mocks. I took over 30 different ones.
Write lots} of practice code. I counted up over 150 I wrote in preparation.
Study. Study. Study. BTW, did I mention, you need to study?
Lastly, I took Valentin's mock about a week ago and did terrible - <50%. Don't sweat it - his mock is way harder than the real thing.
Now I'm off to do the Developers exam!
