Hi, Even though Im a Java head, Im looking into some Microsoft certs as well. I noticed that the test 70-216 is linked to every M$ cert. MCP, MCSD, MCDBA, MCSA, MCSE, blah blah blah. anyways, I said to myself, "Self, one test counting towards 5 certs seems like a good deal" But after doing a little research at work and online, I find that the 216 is called the "Beast" due to it being the hardest M$ test out there. It's also been compared to be harder than CCNA tests. But no one has compared it to any Java test. hmmmm...... My question is for anyone who's taken both of these tests. 216 and SCJP2. It doesn't matter if you passed them or not, I just want to know your opinion of which was harder. All help is appreciated, Travis B.
Hi, I doesn't pass 70-216 exam, but I can say that Microsoft Windows NT\2000 related exam aren't to hard to pass. Really "Beasty" exams are exams related to SQL Server 7.0\2000 Administrating\Developing. So I clam that most MCSE exams has easy-to-medium difficulty, Java programmer exam is medium difficulty like for example MSCD Visual Basic's exams, but for example IBM XML 141 exam or MS SQL Server exams has medium-to-hard difficulty.
