Finally got certified , fared very poorly in I/O,Threads, Garbage collection. Many thanks to Jose, Corey,Valentin,Jessica, Jamal, Nazmul, Hima Nadi, Tanuja, Rob Ross, William Brodgen and rest of the ranchers for their wonderful support. Pay attention to I/O & Threads atleast 20 questions assured. Preparing for the exam was really stressful, I wasted too much time looking out for resources for exam. I would like to thank my wife and daughter for their support and tolerating all my antics to leave me alone for studies during preparations. I just used to envy Maha Anna for the amount of time she found for her prepartions and solving all available mock tests, thanks to Maha Anna for in a way inspiring me to achieve my goal.
I am planning to switch to programming field from the low skilled job I am doing at present. I feel this was the toughest Exam I ever faced, got nervous when I got all the thread questions initially. JQ+ does help a lot but I never took it seriously and got hold of it too late. I started seriously preparing for SCJP from March onwards. Thanks to Marcus Green for his beautiful tutorials, Jane Griscti for her Study Notes , Roseanne Zhang for her FAQ's. Referred Khalid Mughal and RHE , both the books compliment each other although Khalid's book is too academic for a beginner like me and used to put me to sleep. Also many thanks to VeluMurugan's study notes, Mike's Notes, Carl's Notes, Veena's notes, Jamal Notes and Carl's Notes (a real Killer, who has done detective work for the older version of Java2). You can find them all here Dont Miss Them, Click on SCJP2 and link from Study Notes.
Finally thanks to Javaranch for maintaining this beautiful site. Where should I go from here now??? . Please advice me what should I do next.
Regards,
Arun

Carl's Notes (a real Killer, who has done detective work for the older version of Java2).
This should be Kai's notes.

Congratulations, Arun! Excellent work!
As far as what exam to go after next, that's really up to you. The developer exam is great for all-around design, but the web component developer exam will give you some great insight into servlets and the like. It's really up to you as to what you'd like to work with.
Congrats, again,
Corey

Hello ,
I could not find the link to Carl's notes through java Discuss.
Can someone provide a exact link to notes.
Is it really worth going through this notes during last days as I am planning to appear for exams on 14th.
I have gone through few other notes like Marcus's,
Vel's,Jyoti's.
Thanks.
