Hi,
Yep, i pass the scjp2 with 84%. Overall, i thought the exam wasn't as difficult as i thought it would be and it compared very well with JQPlus.
My study for the exam consisted mainly of reading articles on the cert forum here and taking lots of online&offline mock exams. Here are my jqplus scores:
Practice Tests:
- very easy: 68%
- easy: 58%
- tough: 51%
- very tough: 58%
Standard Tests:
- 1: 65%
- 2: 73%
- 3: 73%
- 4: 78%
- 5: 81%
- 6: 93%
- 7: 80%
- 8: 79%
- 9: 70%
I found that the real exam had many questions in it that were very similar to jqplus questions - especially the simple 'trick' questions like an instance method called from static main(), out of scope variables, immutable strings, pass by value/reference stuff, etc.
Anyhow, if you want to pass, do lots of mocks (and remember to read thru correct answers)!
