Hi JavaRanchers,
I want to thank you all for your support.
I cleared the SCWCD with 86%.
Exam Tips:
1. Take a look at the Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2 specifications
2. Play with the official reference implementation, Tomcat
3. Books: SCWCDExamStudyKit by Hanumant , More Servlets and JSPs by Marty Hall
4. Practice JWebPlus Mock Exam
5. JSP Syntax card, DTD, TLD, Servlet and JSP API's (Exam Cram)
6. Velmurgan's Notes, Ken's notes and Alex's notes.
Also you can refer to my web page for quick notes
on JSP and API poster.(not fully completed)

My special thanks to Javaranch for providing
the info about the latest books and the mock exam.
Future Plans to write SCEA or IBM158 Exam.
Good Luck to everybody
Thanks,
Raj

Congrats! raj..Good work!
You mentioned that you have read SCWCD study kit and Practice JWebPlus Mock Exam. Did you get the JWebPlus Mock Exam from the CD that is included in the SCWCD study kit? or you buy it seperately? How is JWebPlus?
Thanks
Nancy

Congrats, raj. Can you please share some thoughts on the design pattern questions? What kind of questions are they asking? Does the manning book cover them well?

I just bought the JWebPlus and it didn't include pdf version of study kit. I checked and found the promotion has expired on June 30.

Thank you guys,
Nancy,
I bought the JWebPlus software and got the PDF version.
No idea about the CD that comes with the book.
Tracy,
I got 4 questions on design pattern all these are covered
in the Manning book.
Maria,
You missed the good deal, anyhow you can get the
e-book from Manning publications. ($$$)
Marcelo,
Yep, I'm in the process of putting
all my notes in my web page.
Thanks,
Raj

Congrats on passing with a good score. Thanks for the valuable information. If it's not a problem, could you please share the information about the preparation time. Was your work experience related to JSPs, Servlets etc??
Thanks,
Kavitha

kavitha
I was preparing for the past one month about 2-4 hours
a day. Basically I used to try some samples and test
it on Tomcat. Yep, I have 2 years experience on JSP and Servlets.
