Hi
I passed SCJP today with 83%. 49 out of 59. I intensively prepared it for about 2 months. Now, I did it. I think that take part in the discussions in javaranch and other forums on the topic of the test is helpful. I also want to thank Marcus Green and other mock exam makers, chairyuan, the wonderful note he made is really complete.
The SCJP test is very basic. All its questions are stick to the objectives. And I found the time is so abundant that I finished half an hour before the exam ends. So, don't be afraid of the time, it's no problem i think.
I'm still a college student and taking the exam is not very aimful 'cause I'm not hunting for a job yet. So, can anyone give me some suggestion about what should I study for next? SCJD? or whatever?
Again, thank the wonderful forum of javaranch ^_^

Congratulations Kevin,
Good Job.
I want to know what they ask in java.lang questions? I mean to say does they ask only wrapper classes and math functions ? Questions on comparable interfaces, system class , runtime class , Clone etc. are included in the exam?
Pls reply
Thanks
Salima

In my test there are no questions on clone or reflexion and camparable. However, there are many questions on String and StringBuffer and combine them to such objectives as method call.
