Hi all,
I have passed 310-025 (java programmer exam on platform 2) two months ago. I already have got the certificate in hand. However, i feel the wordings on the certificate a bit strange.
The words on there are:
"Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform 1.2". As i read some of you just claim yourself as scjp of java 2 platform....but never "java 2 platform 1.2"...so i really want to know if that "1.2" appear in every certificate for 310-025 exam or just mine got a typo error....
besides, i never have seen that wordings like "java 2 platform 1.2" appear when (i) I register the exam at prometric centre (ii) on the Sun web site, the page from which the exam objectives can be downloaded (iii) on my Exam Score Report after i have taken the exam (iv) in Sun's CertManager.
is there something wrong with my certificate?
thanks for easing my doubt.
-anita.

There is a new exam from Sun, for Java 2 1.4, so 310-025 became Java 2 1.2.

In that case, will there be more people still interested in getting 1.2 certificate?.
