Hi all,
Thanks for the people of javaRanch. I am relatively new to javaRanch. Just joined a month ago when I start my preparation for the SCWCD exam. During this month I have seen a lot of information and posts that help my study.
Thanks!
Just passed the SCWCD with 96%, lost one in
Servlet container model, and the other one in Session. It seems to get a 100% need some extra luck.
When I do the jwebplus exams I usually just made 1 or 2 questions wrong, so I was thinking maybe I could make a 100% on the real one.
Generally the SCWCD exam do not have much tricky questions. jwebplus exams are very close to the real one.
Some suggestions for those who are working on SCWCD:
1. read SCWCD exam study kit. This is my major study material. If you grasp the book pretty good, I believe your will pass the exam with no problem.
2. If you want to make a better understanding of the tech, read the Servlet and
JSP specs. They clear things out.
3. I did read a little bit about "core servlets and JSP", "Jave server pages 2nd Edition", "Servlet programming 3rd Edition". but they should not be your major study material. You know, to pass the exam is not the same as to learn the tech. They are all good tech books. Personally I like the "Servlet programming 3rd edition".
Hope everybody could pass the exam soon! Good luck!
My next step may be the
SCJD. I heard that one is tough. Hope I could make it in 6months. See you guys around.
Kyle
