Hi All,
I cleared the SCWCD exam today...although with a average score
Thanks a lot Rancher's, for the information, answers to my numorous queries and providing tons of study material, free
I can suggest the following for the future aspirants:
1)There were many tricky questions related to listners and JavaBeans. I suggest, one should have hands-on practice.
2) Questions related to API and web.xml DD were easy ones and here one can be sure to score.
This was my strength
3)I don't have any exam specific book! So I depended totally on numorous materials available on JavaRanch site. It's really sufficient, if we go through it thoroughly.
4) It's good to appear at as much mock test as possible. JWebPlus is worth a purchase.
5) And yes, blast as many questions(relevant plz) to JavaRanch as possible. It helps you, it help all
I also like to thanks JR's greenhorn, Tauqueer Ali, who took personal interest and kept me motivated to get this Merit from Sun.
Beware!!!During the test, to my surprise, I found that my keyboard was not responding to some command I got it replaced, but it costed me 4-5 minutes of my exam time. So, friends, be convinced before-hand that your alloted system is working properly.
All the best.

Congratulations, great job. Now, following your suggestion (shooting off questions in JR ), here is my questions. Can you please tell what kind of questions did you get on listeners and distributed webapps topic?

Thanks Tracy!
One has to be very thorough with listner. Questions revolved aroung the various methods they provide.
There ware plenty questions related to distributed webapp vis-a-vis (1)listner interface (2)session and(3)servlet context.
HTH.

CONGRATS BUDDY !!!
Considering the fact that you are into a full time job and still managed to study and covered the whole syllabus in such a short span of time.....I would rate ur score to be EXCELLENT.
I hope you'll help all of us in answering our questions.
Best of luck for Architect exam !!!
