I just passed the 1.4 exam with 95%. Thanks to all Ranchers and the wonderful resources that are provided here.
My Background:
I have 3 years experience in C/C++ and little exposure to Java. I also have a Master's degree in Comp Science.
My Preparation:
1. Read Khalid Mughal completely. Its an excellent book. I did not read any other book.
2. Took specific topic exams from Dan's site. This really helped me a lot.
3. Used jqplus(for 1.2 exam) for practice. Took the jqplus mock exams for the last 10 days only. I don't have a lot of time as I work fulltime.
4. Read Velmurugan's notes in the last two days.
5. Read the Sun tutorial for Assertions.
I hope this information helps others in their certification preparation.
Goutham.

Its an MS-word document.

Good luck with your preparation.

Hi Iftikhar,
I can't remember the exact number of questions on Threads. I think there were around 10 questions. Some of them were OK. But a couple of them were very confusing. You need to know most of the API functions in the Thread class.
Hope this helps,
Good Luck
Goutham.
