I want to congratulate Jack, but at the same time... encourage Rog Schafer.
Don't worry... you will pass the next time... try harder... (I have heard quite a lot of news that even experienced programmers passed only the 2 time).

I agree. I only passed on my second time. ( I was in too much of a hurry to sit the exam the first time and hadn't studied enough).
OK, its a bit of a waste of money to fail it, but in the end it doesn't matter. Your certificate doesn't say "Only passed on the second time"!! No-one knows (unless they happen to be reading this post!).
And an advantage is that the second time you know what to expect in the way of questions, time etc. which is good if exams make you nervous (I sat it a couple of years ago when there weren't so many of these exam simulators etc available).
