Yeehah, I passed. Thanks to Dan, Marcus, Kathy, Keen Chen and all the others whose posts helped me in this effort. A special thanks to Sylviaabm Nasar for your timely warning about the non-disclosure agreement being part of the exam time. This really helped. If I had not noticed it until well into the exam it might have caused me to panic a bit. I just agreed quickly and went on. This "feature" is extremely unfair especially with no warning from SUN that it will occur. I will email them about this and I suggest that others should do the same. NOTE: My results were very close to what I scored on Marcus's mock exams. Not too bad for a 51 year old who hates to memorize anything and has zero formal computer science training. I spent about 2 weeks of concentrated effort within a 4 week time frame to get these results. I am a Control Systems Engineer with 22+ years of experience and a 1980 Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. As a hardware guy growing up, I used to think that "Software Engineer" was an oxymoron but I may yet be convinced it is not. And now, barkeep, give me a nice German dopplebock.
