I wanna learn perl and looking for to download a free environment/tool to test my codes for errors and run them.please any resources and tutorials.

Hi there,
Yep, ActiveState's implementation of Perl is great and it comes with some nice online documentation for all the important perldocs, modules, etc.
Another Win32 implementation you can look at is the one that's part of the Cygwin distribution at http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin (I believe.) I haven't used it as much as ActiveState's implementation but should get the job done.

I'd recommend the "Open Perl IDE" available from SourceForge. It is simple, free, easy, includeds a debugger and has helped me learn perl. It has limitations, but for learning it works quite well.
For some reason, it doesn't seem to play well with V5.8 of perl, so I'd download the 5.6.1. They may fixed it, but can't confirm that.
Good luck. BTW: try cpan.org for a list of mailing lists for support and help. The beginner's list is high volume...
