Congratulations Nabeel!
Well done!
I've recently ordered SCWCD Exam Study Kit: Java Web Component Developer Certification.
If this comes even close to Kathy's and Bert's book I would be most happy.

Howdy! Thanks very much for the comments you two , and congratulations.
We *are* coming out with an SCWCD book, but not until a new version of the exam comes out, and that will not be until the fall sometime (September-ish).
So for now, we like the Deshmukh and Malavia book; that would be my recommendation -- based on the quality of its content. It is in a completely different style, more like a reference book, but it's accurate and complete.
In the meantime, here's a little teaser: there will be a completely NEW Java exam coming out in the not-too-distant future (I believe even *before* the Web exam is revised), and we are also doing a book on that one. But I can't yet reveal any details about that exam, including what it's about, until they let me... probably very soon (later this month). I'm writing the exam objectives for it right now, and we'll post a survey here on javaranch to see how important developers feel each of the objectives are. That's how we decide how many questions to ask on each objective.
cheers and thanks again!
-Kathy
