Hi all,
i just passed SCWCD with 96%. Seeing the percentage scored in sections, I believe i did 3 mistakes. 2 in custom tags and 1 in Java beans. I felt the exam is not as competitive as SCJP1.4. The toughness of the questions is comparitively low. I mean i felt there has'nt been many questions on analysis of code. Most of the questions were on concepts, technical terms and syntax keywords etc.
1.The best bet is Hanumanth Deshmukh book. And its 3 practise tests.
2. Go through all the excercises at the end of each lesson. I felt some questions in the exam were very similar to the ones in that book.
2. Have servlet and JSP specification along with you, when you are reading. Just to check when you have any doubts.
3. Coming to the practise tests, Apart from these three, I have covered the mock tests by Anand Chawla and withmilk.com
I believe this prepartion would be really sufficient for the exam.
Time that you would take for the preperation is 3 weeks if you prepare seriously...
Good luck

Hi Neeraja,
I donot have any real time experience. I just graduated from university. I felt exam mostly covered conceptual knowledge rather than analysing code. But if you have real time experience you can clear the exam easily.
good luck
