I took and passed SCWCD on June 7, My headache caused me to keep on throwing on the questions. And eventually completed in about 20 mins.
I had prepared for it earlier but could not register in my city, I had to visit another city about 325 kms away to take this exam.
The exam is fairly easy, with no question requiring analytical skills, if you know the technical information like syntax of expression etc., there wont be a problem. Design pattern questions were fairly simple.
I followed Professional SCWCD certification book from WROX (That I got as a prize gift from JavaRanch)
Thanks Jessica , Carl and others @ JavaRanch !

Congratulations on your score!
Let me ask you a few questions though (I'm using the same book as you did.) How was the book? Was that all you used to prepare for the exam? Mock exams? How long did you prepare before you went in and took the exam?
And um lastly ... why did you think it was easy? Or I guess, what made the test easy? No tricks or stuff -- just straightforward questions? Well, you get the idea.
Again, congrats.

Thanks.
The WROX book is enough I guess, I missed one thing that came in the exam. EVAL_BODY_BUFFERED from BodyTag. So just have a look at it from the specifications. I had JSP and Servlets specifications too. But I just gave'em a shallow reading.
The test is easy because it doesn't test any concepts like OO etc. It just focusses on the API like method signature, syntax etc.
You might be having abridged version of SCWCD exam simulator from Whizlabs that comes with the book.
My preparation was quite awkward, I prepared for 7+7+3 days in broken periods. In all I spent 17 days (6 hours/day)
