Passed the 310-035 with 88%

Hi !
I passed the 310-035 with 88% on 2003-06-17.
I had prepared for 3 months, reading the book "Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035 & 310-027)" by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates
I took various mock exams, incuding the Marcus Green's test. Use this link to take to mock exams: http://www.levteck.com/
Other important mock exam I took is the Whizlabs.com test. It simulates the real SCJP version 1.4, and you can change the number of questions, time and type of question (multiple choice, etc).
Its important to take the mock test and correct EACH question after the test (and not only check the score), so you can see your weaker and stronger points.
Thanks
Alex

Congratulations Alexandre!
One question:
I also prepare with both the K&B book and Whizlabs. What do you think is more important for the exam (regarding the kind of questions)?
As far as I see the Whizlabs questions are harder than the K&B/Masterexam questions...
Thx!!

The most important thing for the exam is when you learn something, you must TEST it in a real program, with the same JDK version of the test. And, if possible, make same questions, like "what will happen when I put this stuff in the code.... ?" and TEST IT after.
Yes, Whizlabs questions are harder than the exam. The "Hardest Questions from Bill Brogden" (http://www.lanw.com/java/javacert/HardestTest.htm) is even harder. I took 47% (total of 19 questions) 2 days before my real test.
Bert, Im studying for SCJD with your book. I will take my assignment when I pay the voucher
Thanks
Alex
