Passed SCJP1.4 with 88% today.
I did intense studying for 2 weeks.
Thanks to Kathy and Bert for the most excellent book. It gave me much confidence going in. I like their narative approch.
I also used complete java 2 certification book by sybex. It condensed, and not as detailed as sun certified programmer & developer for java2.
I played the rule round up games, many many time.
I tried some of Dan's mock up exam.
Also, practice exams from whizlab was excellent for the exam. Read some questions posted on SCJP forum, some topics like operator precedence and others(you pick and read about your weak areas) were very helpful.
Come to think of it, I had lots of resources.
They were mostly found in the faq in SCJP forum.
Thanks javaranch.
