hi folks!
managed to pass SCJP1.4 today with 77%!
I am sure this will give me a great satisfaction for what i have been doing for the past few years.. java programming!
Eventhough i did not spend much time with all the mock exams and stuff. Infact i have not done a single post on javaranch..i mainly relied on Simon Roberts book + M.Green's tutorial + Maha Anna's guide. But..honestly.. this place has the central place that comes to my mind when i think of Java Certification! Wonderful job!
few tips for future candidates..
- give more focus on threads, utils+lang classes, garbage collection
- study how the arguments from a command line can be used in the rest of the program
- make sure you know the OOPs concepts well interms of Java..like overloading overriding implements exteds static & dynamic binding etc
Good luck for future candidates.
Lemme join the club of SCJPs now
cheerz
